Let God Help

The Gospel, or Good News, is that God has made a Way for every person to be right with Him and close to Him. We are not perfect, but God is perfect. God wants us to be close to Him and spend eternity with Him in Heaven, so He requires us to be perfect like He is. His solution is to make us perfect through Jesus. Since we could not be perfect on our own, He sent Jesus to live the perfect life and pay for our sins, our imperfection. Jesus died on the cross and rose to life again. God offers us complete pardon and the perfection of Jesus as a gift. We cannot earn it. But we have to realize our need for this gift and allow Jesus and God to take control of our life. It is not just knowing, it is giving up our life in exchange for Jesus' Life.
