15. Who are 10 Historical Scientists Who Believed in Jesus?
Pioneers of Modern Science
1. Isaac Newton (1642–1727)
Widely considered one of the greatest scientists of all time, Newton formulated the laws of motion and universal gravitation. He actually wrote more on Biblical theology and church history than he did on mathematics and physics.

2. Blaise Pascal (1623–1662)
A brilliant mathematician and physicist (known for Pascal's Law), he underwent a profound religious conversion in 1654. His book Pensées is a classic defense of the Christian faith, famously containing "Pascal’s Wager."

3. Johannes Kepler (1571–1630)
The astronomer who discovered the laws of planetary motion. Kepler famously described his scientific research as "thinking God's thoughts after Him."

4. Michael Faraday (1791–1867)
The father of electromagnetism and electrochemistry, Faraday was a devout member of the Sandemanian church. He believed that the natural world was a unified system created by a single divine mind.

5. James Clerk Maxwell (1831–1879)
His work on electromagnetic radiation paved the way for radio, TV, and even Einstein’s relativity. Maxwell was known for his deep personal faith and extensive knowledge of the Bible.

Foundations of Biology and Chemistry
6. Gregor Mendel (1822–1884)
The founder of the modern science of genetics. Mendel was an Augustinian friar and abbot who conducted his famous pea plant experiments within the walls of St. Thomas's Abbey.

7. Robert Boyle (1627–1691)
Often called the first modern chemist, Boyle was a leader in the Scientific Revolution. He spent much of his personal wealth on translating the New Testament into various languages to spread the Gospel.

8. Louis Pasteur (1822–1895)
The biologist/chemist who discovered the principles of vaccination and pasteurization. He was a devout Catholic who reportedly said, "The more I study nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator."

9. Lord Kelvin (William Thomson) (1824–1907)
The physicist who developed the absolute temperature scale (Kelvin). He was a firm believer who argued that the design of the universe was too complex to have happened by chance.

10. Francis Collins (1950–Present)
Note: Though still living, he is historically significant as the leader of the Human Genome Project. Formerly an atheist, he converted to Christianity and wrote The Language of God, describing DNA as the information system of a Creator.
